Product Description

Etnies x Magenta - Marana Vulc - Navy
2015 brings unmatched partnership with Etnies and Magenta skateboards bumping heads on exciting projects like this.

Etnies Shoes and Magenta Skateboards present a collaborative capsule with the graphical side realised by Koichiro Uehara, Koichiro has been an endorser of both brands for quite some time after finding himself riding for both brands and has added his signature patch design onto all items with a unique shell overtone design featuring over the fabrics.

The capsule consists of: A heavyweight zip-up, weather-resistant varsity style Leads Jacket with front aqua zip on a weather resistant fabric for the wetter months, a remix version of the Etnies Marana Vulc - this has a slimmer silhouette to it's predecessor but maintains the durable rubber toe cap with the continued advanced STI Evolution Foam insole still included all housed in shell patterned colourway. If your wanting to sport the new wears but in need of a shoe with more feel the Etnies x Magenta Scout, the Scout is a basically lighter than air, designed for comfort without jeopardising durability with added mesh front upper fabrics for breath-ability all encompassed by Koichiro's singtaure Shell patterns.

The Shoe:
* STI Evolution Foam™ insole
* Grippy vulcanized outsole
* Rubber printed toe cap
* Reinforced upper for support
* Breathable mesh tongue and collar lining
* Superior Etnies/Magenta quality.

Ex-Professional Skateboader Pierre André Sénizergues started with Etnies in Europe in 1986, Etnies is the first skateboarder-owned and operated Shoe company and unlike the many deceased companies has stood the test of time, Etnies have been dubbed the forefathers of the "Pro Model" shoe and have incorporated into the industry many of the technologies we see in most shoe companies today.

Etnies stays true to its roots by sponsoring a world class team of skateboarders including: Ryan Sheckler, Jose Rojo, Tyler Bledsoe, Devine Calloway, Willow
,Nick Garcia & Cairo Foster, as well as donating time and effort to supporting these individuals - Etnies have "given" back on a global scale by continuously running their 'buy a shoe, plant a tree' campaign that has worked to plant 100.,000 tree's in both Costa Rica and Brazil.

Supporting Etnies helps support skateboarding.

Magenta is skateboarder owned and run company. Soy Panday, Jean Feil (who's a skateboard photographer and filmer) and Vivien Feil started the company a few years back.

Magenta is the name of the neighbourhood in Paris where they all met; Soy and Vivien shared an apartment for a long time.

Magenta started because we weren't really satisfied with what was available out there. So at some point they got tired of spray-painting their boards or swapping them for the right wood (namely Generator wood, which Magenta exclusively use now) and seeing the kind of skateboarding that we're excited about. Magenta is not trying to please everyone, there not trying to flood the market, there not trying to appeal to kids or to fit any "standards" as they believe everyone else in skateboarding is already busy doing just that.

The Magenta team like to skate in actual streets in actual cities, which is why all of our videos feature just that. They try to feature their friends and the local scenes of the cities they visit. Soy does all the graphics and they are all hand-drawn. All Magenta boards are made by Generator in the US and all the clothing is made in France.

Magenta are trying to produce exactly what they like to wear or skate with and since we've all been skating for well over 10 years (20 for Soy), it means we're after the quality stuff only. The team so far consists of Soy Panday, Leo Valls, Jimmy Lannon, Vivien Feil and Zach Lyons.
